Vataset Teollisuus Oy is preparing to establish a biorefinery in Kemijärvi. The Kemijärvi biorefinery aims to process high-quality northern wood into premium-grade, long-fiber pulp, dissolving pulp, and other bioproducts, with an annual production capacity of 700,000 metric tons.

Its location amidst growing forests shortens transport distances and provides fresh wood, allowing for the recovery of valuable, rapidly volatile, and soluble components. In collaboration with partners, we utilize the entire tree and participate in the development of new, high-value-added products.
